Ok, disclaimer: I need a post in order to test the query loop that we’re using for the blog page. And I could really just do lorem ipsum, ad nauseum for several lines, and get stable diffusion to produce me a pic of something random to accompany it, but I will not. For one, it doesn’t seem like a good way to spend the time on a thursday night. But most importantly – I would be doing you all a major disservice by wasting your time on presenting things to you which anyone under the sun with an internet connection could do.
Instead let’s dust off an old but truly wonderous corner of the internet which is scriptrographer.org. It’s the brain child of a brilliant designer Jurg Lehni, and is home to a whole sleu of illustrator plugins which run on javascript and allow you to make really cool procedural parametric vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator. …or Did anyway. Sadly, even though the website carries a 22 year tenure, the last time the scripts themselves have been updated was in 2012, which is CS5 era. And since Adobe Illustrator isn’t exactly backwards compatible, neither is its script interface. So Alas, scriptographer is fossilized in time. Got a copy of CS5? or something earlier? If so – head on over to the link above. And make something amazing.
